How does pheromone potency vary among products? We have constructed a chart that makes it easy to determine which of these products will give you the best chance of achieving positive results in the use of pheromones. Some products mix pheromones with a fragrance. Our attention should focus on the amount of PHEROMONES we apply, not on the amount of FRAGRANCE. And greater potency means greater flexibility. That's why pheromone potency is important. As an example, Passion Pheromone Attractant (PPA) is approximately 6666 times more concentrated than APC. In other words, for a given amount of PPA, one would have to apply 6666 times as much of APC to equal the effectiveness of PPA. If one were to apply APC according to this ratio, what would people notice--the pheromones or the fragrance? Therefore, one should expect to be far more successful with PPA than with APC. And yet, PPA is CHEAPER in price! The lesson is simple: If you want the power of pheromones to work for you, then buy a pheromone product that has a TRULY effective pheromone concentration. One that gives you the best value for your money is a plus. The following Pheromone Potency Comparison chart for men's products utilizes pheromone concentrations stated on product labels, and the results of certified lab reports for certain products, to depict the relative pheromone potency of readily available products and their prices as commonly seen on the web. The top portion of the chart shows the total pheromone concentration in milligrams per milliLiter (mg/mL). The chart uses this unit of measurement because the reader does not need any special knowledge of a product in order to perform this calculation. In addition, the top portion of the chart breaks down the total pheromone concentration into three potential pheromone components. The bottom portion of the chart shows the typical Price for Product, in increments of $10, of the corresponding product. The Price of Product scale reflects the smaller known product size, if there is more than one size. |

(P10) Perfect Ten A product for experienced users. Strongest concentrate allowed by law. Unscented. Used straight, 1 drop is equivalent to about 4.5 drops of PPA. Potency is adjustable with the ethanol base included in the kit version. Independent lab tests report that the triple pheromones boost effectiveness 11% over a product with only androstenone. Normally used in conjunction with a fragrance in a ratio of 12:1 or 6:1 -- whichever gives positive results. Maximum non-redundant application is 5 to 6 drops. With a concentration of 0.15 mg/mL, this product is the yardstick by which to rate the others. Blended in the proper proportion, with an androstenone product, the product can boost the pheromone potency of the androstenone product by up to 11%. The user may apply more product to boost the potency, but the amount of fragrance applied may be unacceptable. The user faces additional difficulty in adjusting the potency, if he is unfamiliar with the fragrance. It is 33% less potent than PPA, the yardstick. The user may apply more product to boost the potency, but the amount of fragrance applied may be unacceptable. The independent lab report states the measured level of androstenone as less than 0.005% by weight. PPA is 3x more concentrated. Select this product on the basis of scent, not pheromone content. One liqidation sale is offering the product at a considerably reduced price. [Go to the men's chart] [Top] (HIO) Hi-Octane/Beaches An off-the-shelf unisex product. Scented. The independent lab report states the measured level of androstenone as less than 0.001% by weight. PPA is 15x more concentrated. Select this product on the basis of scent, not pheromone content. Its warning label categorizes APC as a "FRAGRANCE". If you want to see the math for the calculation of the relative pheromone concentration of PPA vs. APC, then read on. Otherwise, skip to the next product. On its warning label, Androstenone Pheromone Concentrate (APC) lists the pheromone content as: less than 0.0225 milligrams per Liter = less than 0.0000225 milligrams per milliLiter. PPA lists the pheromone content as: 0.015% by weight in a 15 milliLiter bottle = 2.25 milligrams per 15 milliLiters = 0.15 milligrams per milliLiter.
